You mean the MEN Arena? Taxi is about 5 minutes. Could walk it. There are signs around town. Would take about 15 minutes to walk.
The two hotels you mention are VERY close to each other. The Travelodge is on Blackfriars Street,off Deansgate, and the Premier Inn on the next street along towards the Arena,almost facing it.
